HAVING A CONNECTION WITH THE FOOD YOU EAT MEANS KNOWING WHERE IT COMES FROM. MEET THE PEOPLE WHO HELP OUR WORLD GO ’ROUND.

These are just a few of the important people in our lives.

SHARED LEGACY COMMUNITY SUPPORTED AGRICULTURE (CSA)

Elmore, Ohio
Farmer Kurt—Ohio-bred, tractor-fooling, vegetable-loving country boy—operates his 400 member Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) membership program on 20 acres of certified organic ground in Elmore, Ohio, just 15 miles south of Toledo. Knueven Creamery is proud to sell milk and ice cream shares for their 18-week harvest season and pick up.

TURKEYFOOT CREEK CREAMERY

Wauseon, Ohio
Turkeyfoot Creek Creamery is a family-owned farm who handcrafts artisan cheese and ice cream flavors from their trip of Saanen, Lamancha, and Alpine goats. They and their goats provide us with the cheese for some of our specialty ice creams flavors.

PANTLESS JAMS

Temperance, Michigan
Pantless Jams was founded with a simple mission: to provide a delicious and healthy alternative to traditional jam. A blend of bold and savory, our jams are made in small batches to ensure the highest quality. Our recipes are made from three simple ingredients: whole fruit, minimal sugar, and lemon. When possible, we source locally grown fruit right here in Ohio and Michigan. Our recipes are dairy free, gluten free, nut free, vegan-friendly, and never contain artificial ingredients like gels, dyes, or preservatives.

PROBST FAMILY FARM

Bluffton, Ohio
The Probst family’s maple syrup comes from their farm in Bluffton, Ohio. Syrup is harvested during February and March but is available year round.

SUTER’S PRODUCE

Pandora, Ohio
As kids, one of our favorite summer activities was picking strawberries at the Suter family’s fields. We’d pick as many as we could—to eat, make pies, and jams. Today, we are proud to use their fruits in our ice creams. They take pride in their daily pickings—meaning the fruits and veggies are as fresh as can be.

MUDDY RIVER HOMESTEAD

Findlay, Ohio
Local woodland raised pork. Muddy River’s pigs are a heritage breed. Pigs live a full 12 months and mature naturally, producing a higher quality pork. No hormones, antibiotics, and other unnecessary medications and chemicals.

Of course, there are more. We are thankful to every animal and being that are part of our world.
